The Historic Toilet House in Mannheim is a public toilet directly on the Rhine. It is located on a small green area between the Rhine promenade and the Stephanienufer. Here you can relieve yourself after a leisurely walk along the water or freshen up during a hot summer day.
Likewise, the Historisches Toilettenhaus also houses a dark side. For it has been serving as a gay cruising area for over 30 years and is one of the most famous in all of Mannheim.
