The Victory Column in Berlin

The Victory Column is probably one of the largest and most famous monuments in the center of Berlin. It is located in the middle of the Großer Stern and has a total height of more than 69 meters. At the height of about 51 meters, it also offers a spacious viewing platform, where you have a wonderful view over the entire Tiergarten to the nearby Bellevue Castle. It is also an important hub for major events such as the Berlin Schlagermove and the Christopher Street Day (CSD).

But all this is far from being the only reason why the Siegessäule is so popular in Berlin's gay scene. Especially under the cover of twilight, it transforms from a tourist magnet to one of the most famous gay cruising areas in the heart of the capital. Here you can meet and exchange wonderful with gay and bisexual men at the flap, which is only 50 meters away.

You want to let off steam again? Then we recommend a weekend trip to Frankfurt and a visit to the popular Roomers Bar!
