The flap at the parade ground refers to the public toilet house. It is located in the northern part of the parking lot on the main road. The Exerzierplatz got its name because German and Danish garrison troops drilled here from 1744 to 1846. Today the Exer is a spacious parking lot, which has also served as a weekly market since 1904.
Here at the flap on Exerzierplatz in Kiel, numerous gay and bisexual men meet, especially during the week. These love to meet in the public toilet and have fun with like-minded people. The best rush hours here are in the early morning and towards the end of the day.
