The Frankfurt Central Station
Frankfurt's main train station is by far the heart of the city. It was built in 1888 and is a typical terminus station. It has a total of 25 mainline tracks, 4 subway tracks and 4 suburban tracks and is used daily by more than 493,000 travelers and commuters. Incidentally, it is the second busiest station in the whole of Germany after Hamburg's main station.
