The broom closet at the Alex
The Besenkammer is probably the most famous scene bar in all of Berlin. It is located directly on the Alex, next to the TV tower. With the modest size of less than 30 square meters, the chamber is one of the smallest bars in the city. The bar has a long history behind it, because in the GDR there was already the meeting place, but at that time it was still called HO-Mokkabar. Here you can have a drink around the clock or just have a chat.
The Besenkammer is best known in the gay scene, because gay and bisexual men love to meet here and exchange ideas with like-minded people. The party goes on until the early hours of the morning, 24/7, and the staff is always ready to help with any problems.
