The Apollo Sauna in Hamburg
The Apollo Sauna is probably one of the best known gay sauna and is located in the heart of Hamburg. It is located directly at the Sternschanze and is therefore super easy to reach by public transport. either directly via the S-Bahn station Sternschanze or from the subway station Schlump, but from there it is still 4 minutes with Metro bus 15 to the stop Schulterblatt.
Apollo Sauna is a men-only bar where women and couples are not allowed. Gay men and bisexual men feel especially comfortable here, and they can fully express themselves here. Several sauna areas are available here, as well as spacious wet areas, which invite you to linger comfortably.
The sauna selection
The sauna area in Apollo Sauna is divided into several sections. Here you can find both a dry sauna and a steam sauna, each with different temperatures and features.
- A steam sauna in which there is a mild temperature of about 65° and has a humidity of more than 55 %.
- A Finnish sauna in which high temperatures of more than 95° prevail, but which in turn has a very low humidity of less than 15 %.
In addition, there is a huge plunge pool, where you can swim comfortably, here you can either alone or as a couple fully live and enjoy the time.
The cruising offer in the Apollo Sauna
The Apollo Sauna also offers a wonderful gay cruising area where you can find countless rooms and areas to explore and let off steam. Here you will find among others a darkroom as well as several slingrooms. There are also numerous sunbathing areas and gloryholes distributed throughout the cruising area.
It is also worthwhile in the M&V Bar to have a tasty drink to loosen up or to end the evening in a cozy atmosphere.
